Tue Jan 10 11:33:31 (Grandma S) New Year's: Hi Zoe. I wrote you a story last week, but it seems it got lost. I just want to say what a great time we had over the New Year's Holiday. Peter Pan is a terrific play and I had a real good time, I think you did too. Aunt Marianne, Uncle Angelo, Lauren and Mike had a great time when you visited them. They said you are very funny and make them laugh, especially when you play Charades. You are a very good Charades player, and had them going trying to guess what you were acting. Grandpa and I love you and miss you and hope to see you soon. Love ya, love ya, love ya, Grandma S.
Tue Feb 07 11:27:13 (Grandma S) Grandpa's Birthday: Zoe, Grandpa and I were so happy that you came down to his surprise birthday part! You were real good at keeping the surprise from him, and he totaly didn't expect a thing when we got to the restaurant. I think you had a good time, especially making friends with Chrissy. Thank you for the two pictures you drew for me. I took both my picture of the person and the flower, and grandpa's picture of the monster and the monster's toy to work with me and hung them up on my bulletin board. They look great! Have fun at school, and I will see you soon. Love ya, Love ya, Love ya ...... Love, Grandma

Sun Apr 16 20:31:57 (Grandma S) Snowy Days: What terrific pictures! I love your snow board. Do you miss the snow? I am really glad it is gone, I much prefer the Spring and the Summer. Anyway, you look like you had a ball! See you soon. Love ya, love ya, love ya........Love, Grandma
Spring has been fun so far. First of all - we are having one! Last year it kind of stayed cold right until Summer. This year, we had some nice early warm days. I've posted some pictures of excursions to NYC and Boston. We have a season pass to the New England Aquarium there (thanks to George and Angela) and plan to make good use of it. Jellies are cool.
There is some spring soccer going on, and art classes and more swimming. School is wrapping up next week! Zoe got a bike as an early birthday present - I'm guessing she'll be balancing well by midsummer. We just slogged through two weeks of rain, and are ready to be out and about once again.
Wed May 17 05:59:08 (Mike [Dad]) Spring Thaw: So, we emerge from hibernation for Spring. We had a relatively mild winter (for Maine), and unfortunately there was not much snow at all. In fact, there were only a couple of days good for cross-country skiing/snowplay. Luckily we took some pics of that, because we didn't get another chance! But there were swim lessons and school and visiting NY so we managed to keep busy. We also started doing some geocaching, which was great for motivating us to get out and about on chilly days to explore new areas.
Fri May 26 19:45:31 (Grandma S) Catching Up With Photos: Hi Zoe. It was great seeing the new pictures on the web site. Looking at the New York City pictures reminded me of all the fun we had that day in the City, especially in the Park! You and Alice lookm way cool sitting together. Do you still have your Mr. Potato Head postcard? That was fun to make, wasn't it. Looks like you had a lot of fun in Boston, too. I hope to see you soon, maybe we can all meet at Uncle George and Aunt Angela's when grandpa and I come back from Las Vegas. Love ya, Love ya, Love ya, Grandma S.
Tue Jun 27 07:15:14 (Grandma S) Visit: Hi Zoe. We missed you not being at Aunt Angela's and Uncle George's house last week. Grandpa and I had a good time there, but no goats yet. We played Bocci Ball, which was lots of fun .... well OK, Uncle George, Aunt Angela and I played, Grandpa watched. We went swimming, too. The water was very cold. I hope we get a good visit in when we go to Lauren's graduation. We can go in the pool if the weather is good, and maybe you can bring some games with you so we can play. I'll see you soon, love ya, love ya, love ya .... Grandma
Mon Sep 18 20:02:51 (Grandma S) Garage Sale: Hi Zoe. How is school? Are you having fun? I was thinking that when you come to visit in October, perhaps you would like to have a garage sale with me. I have some stuff I want to sell, and maybe you can bring some of your stuff too. We can do this while mommy and papa are getting ready to go to the wedding. What do you think?
Leaves on the ground remind us Fall is approaching. The nights are cool but we are still having some perfect warm days. Everyone is playing soccer again. Zoe is very excited about school, and taking the bus, and bringing her lunch. We miss her during the day! :)
Tue Sep 19 08:31:40 (Mike [Dad]) End of the Summer: So, what have we been up to this summer? I have just posted a lot of pictures to give you an idea! Zoe finished up pre-school in June. She calls it "her favorite school". The summer was busy and we had a lot of hot weather. Which meant a lot of trips to the beach, to the fountains and to various pools. Zoe did a lot of swimming and is back into lessons again. She backstrokes like a sea otter. We did some camping in the beginning of summer, got to NY in July, and visited the Aquarium in Boston. She had her birthday at a cabin, with a lot of family visiting plus the night out at Old Orchard Beach to ride the rides. Hard to beat that for a fun day :) Zoe also went to day camp and had a major trip to Florida to meet up with Grandma S and enjoy the various theme parks.
Fri Sep 22 22:22:08 (Grandma S): You have the smartest papa in the world! He did such a terrific job putting up all those pictures on the web site. Now we can all see how nice you looked all dressed up for school, and see all the fun you had all spring and summer. The "firemen's foam" pictures are great! I never went swimming in foam, but it looks like you had a wonderful time. Does the foam feel wet like water? Is it cool? I'll see you soon. Love you, love you, love you!
How do bees get to school?
A: On a School BUZZ
What does a Triceratops sit on?
A: Its Tricera-bottom
Q: What do sea monsters eat for lunch?
A: Fish and ships!
OK, that is enough for today. I hope they made you laugh. See you soon, love ya, love ya, love ya..........
Sat Oct 28 07:47:30 (Grandma S) Jokes: Hi Zoe. I haven't sent you any jokes in a long time, so I am sending some today.
Wed Nov 15 19:24:00 (Grandma S) Halloween: Hi Zoe. It is almost Thanksgiving, and I am still waiting for some Halloween pictures. I know you were a terrific superhero, but were you Wonder Woman or Super Girl? I need to see pictures. I also need to see how terrific you looked in your mermaid costume. Please ask Papa to put some pictures up. We'll see you soon, in time for Helen's Party. Love ya, Love ya, Love ya .............
